Meet Monkey Joe! Just look at his sweet little face. If his picture hasn't already stolen your heart, reading and hearing more about him willl!   Monkey Joe is a happy boy, quite content in most any situation. He is somewhat shy at first, but warms up pretty quickly. He loves to be cuddled and to snuggle with his person all night long!  He is looking for that person who will love as he does - unconditionally.

He likes to play with toys and does cute little spins when he's excited. While not overactive, he does love to run in the back yard from time to time, so his forever home should have a fenced in yard.  He also does well with children.

Monkey Joe is considered housebroken, but keep in mind, he is on a schedule and does wear a belly band when I am gone more than a few hours.  Most often it is still dry when I return home. He does need some training on basic commands which we are working on here in his foster home. He has learned to sit on command, but still needs work on other commands. He is learning that walking with a leash attached to his person takes him great places. He's not there yet, but doing much better.

Monkey Joe's ideal home is one where he can be the center of his person's world, because you will be the center of his. He will do great as an only dog or with another calm dog. He does like to chase cats, so a home with no cats is preferred. He doesn't want to be mean with them, he just likes to chase them. He is best suited for someone who is home quite a bit...he will be sad if he has to stay in his crate for very long. Contact his foster mom for more information!!!!
