Wilbur is a young (2 yr-old) hairy hairless Chinese Crested with a super spunky personality. He weighs about 10 pounds, and is a very hairy hairless. You can see pictures of him with long hair when he first arrived, before his current cut. He is really cute and expressive, and seems to be infused with sheer joy!

He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs, with toys, splashing in a wading pool, with a ball or stick. His behavior is VERY puppy like, with burst of energy, power naps, and more GO-GO-GO!! His forever home will need a fenced in yard for plenty of safe zoomie playtime every day, and ideally will have at least one other active dog as a playmate. Wilbur has a very submisssive personality and would be happiest with a very friendly, not too dominant, other dog. He is not recommended for an apartment or condo.

Wilbur is loving, a great snuggler, and loves to meet new people. He doesn't have any nervousness around kids, and is just as excited to meet them as anyone else. He has a great personality and can be very entertaining. He makes silly grunting noises while he plays, and can be quite the barker when he gets going. His favorite thing is to be with his person, though. He will come when called and is always happy to stop what he's doing and come sit on your lap. He also knows "sit" and pattycakes for treats.

Wilbur enjoys going for walks, as well as his playtime in the yard. He is doing very well as far as house manners, too. He is gated in the laundry room when left home alone for more than a couple hours. His ideal home will need to provide lots of attention and activity. He would love to go out and run errands, keep you company out-and-about, and would be up for a hike or run; but lots of fetch and toy time would take care of his energy needs as well. He would love to be carried around and immediately relaxes into you when you pick him up. Long story short, although he enjoys plenty of cuddle time (curled up on your shoulder is his favorite spot..), he is definitely NOT a couch potato.
