Say hello to Mattie! She's a little mixed breed, we think Chinese Crested and poodle, weighing only about 10 pounds.

Sweet, well-mannered and full of non-stop cuteness … that’s Mattie to a “tt”! She loves to be with people and really enjoys being part of the “pack” with her foster brother (a 10lb CC) and her foster sister (a 45lb senior beagle-mix). She is equal amounts rough-and-tumble with her foster brother and lazy-bones with her foster sister.

Mattie knows to go outside for potty time but is not inclined to come “tell” you when she needs to go so keeping her on a schedule will be important. At bedtime she goes right in her crate with no trouble. In the mornings it’s immediately outside for potty time and then she jumps in bed with her human foster brother for snuggles.

A must have for Miss Mattie in her forever home will be a nice big comfy couch. No need for a special bed on the floor, this girl’s favorite spot is perched on the back of the couch where she can keep an eye on everyone and everything in the house.

She is a beautiful brown color with the cutest little tusk teeth. She makes everyone smile!

Mattie is a happy girl, loves playing, cuddling, being a goofball. She has a lot of personality! She's treat motivated and learns very quickly. She will walk on a leash and is happy to run and play outside, or inside with toys.

Mattie truly just wants to love and be loved; heed caution though, one look into her eyes and she’ll steal your heart forever.

Mattie is being fostered in Virginia Beach, and applications are welcome at any time.
