If you want a senior dog to spend your days rocking away the hours then keep on looking because Spot is NOT that dog!  Just like his name Spot in no way describes him neither does his birthday 6-5-06 define him.  You are more likely to be asked how old is your puppy than to hear comments about what an old dog he is.

It is hard for pictures to capture what a beautiful boy Spot is.  At 17 pounds he is at a perfect weight for his height.  He has fine white furnishings on his feet and a flowing white tail that contrast with his lovely brown skin.  His abundent white head hair is accented by some black and brown on his ears.  When he walks he struts the pretty pony prance that makes him striking to behold.

He is a great companion whether sleeping with you, going for a car ride or motivating you to take long walks.  He is the oldest dog in our home but he not only wins the race down the driveway after a 4 mile walk with the pack, he then circles back to me for praise.  Yet when it is chill time he is just as happy to snuggle with his person.

He is a gentle soul that wants so much to be loved and has so much love to give!  He has been allowed to be free in our home and our cabin when we are away and has not had a problem.  Once he learned where he should be going potty he has been clean in the house.  Since he is a bit of a velcro boy he likes me to go with him and praise him.

He has gotten along well with my 6 pack that includes a boxer and 2 females and did not show any interest in the cat he was introduced to.   He would do best in a home where there is little time that he has to be alone.  He will worship the ground that his person walks on.

Fun Spot Fact:  He has the cutest nose I have ever seen.  It doesn't really show in the pictures but it literally looks like someone stuck a back clown nose on the end of his snout.
