With those amazing expressive and huge eyes, Veronica's an absolute doll. So kind, well-behaved, and a bit of a matriarch. She's estimated to be 8+ years old and weighs about 11 pounds.

We're working on making her skin look a bit prettier...hopefully, premium dog food, a strict bathing routine and lots of TLC will help improve her condition. She’s actually very sensitive to touch and can be a bit of a drama queen...but she deserves to be.

She’s been diagnosed with a 5-6 heart murmur. She'll need medication, daily, for the rest of her life. She recently had nine teeth pulled and is feeling so much better with a clean mouth!

Veronica has a torn ACL on her back left knee and will be recuperating for the next month. (Mar 20-April 20) She may also be dealing with arthritis in her hips and has a difficult time getting up from laying down. Her activity time is kept to a very minimum, and she seems fine with that schedule.

She walks great on a leash and would be a wonderful companion to someone who is home more than away...she can howl some pretty tunes when left alone.
