Description:
Maple is an adorable 9 year old crested-chi mix with a lot of spunk. She is completely hairless on her body, with a fuzzy face. She is very shy at the start, but when she loves you she wants to be right by your side. She will take a few days to adjust to a new home so she will need an experienced and patient adopter.
She loves to sleep in bed snuggled up tight to her foster mom. She is very clean in the house when kept on a regular schedule. She can be a bit bossy with other dogs in the home but is easily corrected. She loves toys. We are working on leash skills as she prefers running in the yard chasing squirrels and birds.
She has made herself very much at home after the adjustment period and becomes more and more active every day. She is a pleasure to have around!
Maple is being fostered in Upstate NY State, and she is a candidate for the Golden Opportunity Program.
