Chia is a playful little girl. We really do not know what she is mixed with though if Benji was a breed she could pass as his sister! She looks and feels like a very soft stuffed animal. She is about 4 years old and is the perfect weight at 12 pounds. She is all muscle. Chia is a very pretty white and orange dog when clipped as she is in most of these pictures. When her coat grows out, it's a beautiful, soft, fluffy white.

Chia is enthusiastic about life and loves to play. She has enjoyed the PA snow and going for long walks. She will need to be excercised and would do best in a home where her family will walk or run her regularly as well as spending time playing with toys. She is an A+ ball chaser. As most dogs, she would benefit from obedience training and could be a great agility dog. She is super smart and very food motivated. She knows the following commands: sit, down, walk, beg and shake; and newly added speak, walk, lap and dance. She quickly learned to use the doggie door to go in and out. She is very quick to go potty when she goes out!

Chia can get pretty excited at times and for that reason she is not suited for a home with young children. She has been really good when my visiting grandsons are here ages 1-10. Ideally we'd like her to have a fenced in yard for running and playing outside. If there are other dogs in the home, it would be best if they're calm and balanced. She is getting along great with her boxer foster sister as well as 6 male and female Chinese Crested foster siblings. She also did great when she met three dog-savvy cats. She is very sweet and just tried to make friends going nose to nose with the cat that was colored like her.

Chia is a great bed buddy and has slept with her foster family pack. She will also go happily to her crate at night when asked and even does well sleepig downstairs by herself. She does enjoy going for rides. She was shy at first but she has proven to be an equal opportunity lover and in only a few days she warmed up to both her foster dad and foster mom. She is happy laying at your feet while you're at the compter or watching TV in your lap. She is a good girl, and very easy to live with. She seems to need to get permission to be on furniture and we actually pick her up if we want her near us. She is content with a doggie bed on the floor.
