Dasher is a super sweet and very sensitive puppy. He takes a bit of time to feel comfortable in a new place. But once he does he wants nothing more then to be loved. He is a true joy to have around.

Having a more sensitive personality, Dasher will need a home that will help him continue to build his confidence and feel secure. Dasher would do best with a friendly, well balanced, playmate. No alpha dogs. A home where someone is home more then not is required.

Dasher is a small puppy that has the most hilarious hound bark. Such a big sound coming out of a little puppy. He gets excited easily and will become vocal. He loves running around playing with other dogs or toys. However, his most favorite thing is people. Dasher's gentle ways are great with calmer/older children.

Bathtime is not his favorite but he is a very good boy during grooming and bath.

We are currently working on Dasher's house manners. Although we are making progress, he is not potty trained and any adopter will need to be patient in this area. Dasher sleeps quietly in his crate overnight but would prefer to sleep with his human.

Dasher is being fostered in Blacksburg VA. He is not a candidate for air travel/ground transportation so any adopter woud need to make plans to come pick him up.
