Sweet little Simon is a very laid back and relaxed gentleman. He is one well-balanced dog and an easy-peasy foster. He just makes the cut for "senior" at 8 years of age. Simon acts younger than his age and loves to play with plushy toys. Simon is a quiet little fellow and I have only heard noises of contentment when playing with his toys. He might be considered middle age for this breed.
He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all his shots and recently had a dental. He does all his business outside in the backyard or on a short stroll. Simon is potty trained.
He gets along great with my 3 dogs, but could easily be an only dog for someone, as he is all about the humans. Simon loves to follow me around the house and is content just to be near me.
Simon was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur which is easily controlled with medication. He takes his nightly meds like a champ. Two of my own personal dogs have heart murmurs which have been controlled for many years.
He is easy on a leash and loves a short stroll. Simon is good in the bath and has REALLY soft fur (like a stuffed animal). He is a good eater and eats next to my dogs. Due to his petite size, he would do well in a home without small children or larger dogs so that he doesn't get hurt accidently.
Simon's favorite things: loves to sit on your lap with his back to you so he can get a back rub, loves short strolls and plushy toys and loves to be picked up from the back. He knows the command "turn around" and if you do a circle gesture with your finger .... Simon turns around immediately and is then happy to be picked up. He makes one great TV buddy.
