Meet Snoop.  This 3 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix is beyond cute! 

Snoop is an equal opportunity lover and has bonded to both my husband and me.  He has not met a stranger and is happy to greet one and all.  He is NOT good with cats but loves kids.  He is currently living with 7 other dogs including males and females.  (6 Chinese Cresteds and one pit bull mix)  He and my 60 pound puppy are great buddies and he can hold his own when they play rough. They are both loud when playing. He is a tough little guy.  At 17 pounds he is the perfect weight and is well muscled.    He is a little dog with a big bark!

Snoop is being reevaluated after showing some guarding behaviors.  I still feel he is good with kids and other dogs however I now believe that it will be in his best interest for long term success that he be placed in a home without children, cats or dogs.


Acknowledging that there are exceptions to all rules IF you have only one young, energetic, balanced dog as well as the patience to deal with 2 young energetic dogs your application will be consdered.


I love that he can walk with my other dogs and can go as long and as fast as I can.  He easily does 4 miles at a good clip but could go even further if time allowed.  Exercise on a daily basis will be important for this energetic young dog.  He also enjoys playing ball and other toys.

He is bright.  He learned how to use the doggie door the first night here.  Though he lived outside before he loves being with us and prefers the indoor luxuries.  He would be a great dog to train in just about any doggie activity that you choosse.  He is making great strides with his house training.  He enjoys car rides and just going in general.  He is crate trained.

His coloring is gorgeous!  He is so white and so black  (including white teeth and a stain free face.)  He does have a light stained hind-end where he was chewing himself from the flea infestation that he was suffering from when he came into care. One more clipping and that should be gone.
