We're so excited to introduce you to this handsome fellow, Stan, a Powderpuff Chinese Crested estimated at about four years old. He is on the small side, weighing in about 10 pounds, with a gorgeous black (and a little white) coat. He came into our rescue through the Adams County, PA seizure, and is ready now to move forward with his happy ending.

Stan is an all around great dog. One of his favorite things to do is play, whether with toys or with another dog, running and wrestling in the yard. He looks like a gorgeous show-pony when he runs through the yard! We would like Stan to find a home where there is at least one other well-balanced, playful dog, similiar in size, who could be his friend and buddy. He will definitely need a fenced in yard.

This gentle, sweet guy attached quickly to his caretaker, and loves to snuggle. He's getting more and more used to cuddle time on the couch. Early on, he would easily be startled by every little thing. He's starting to relax more and go with the flow. There are defintely times in the day where he still seems to have a "nervous energy," which seems to be improving with routine and exercise. He is not super needy, but he does like to know where his person is and may whine or bark if he can't see you.

Stan will thrive in a home with a pretty calm energy, a dog-centered routine, where he can continue to grow into his personality. He is absolutely on the right track and will just need a home with that perfect balance of patience-- everything is still a little new for him-- and guidance, to help him to develop the good habits that will make him just the perfect little pet.

Stan is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations. He had a dental cleaning also, and has lovely breath. He is being fostered in Greenville, South Carolina, and applications within driving distance are welcome. As are inquiries at [email protected].
