Meet Mama Rio who is being fostered in Greenville, SC. Mama Rio is about 5-6 years old and a fantastic cuddler. She is mostly housebroken and needs a little training to be the best-housebroken dog she can be,

Mama Rio has a very interesting backstory. One of our volunteers was traveling through the Rio Grande when they spotted her and after a couple of weeks of gaining her trust, they were able to help her into their RV. That is when they found out she was in fact pregnant! She was also unkempt with overgrown nails. After having her puppies somewhere between the Rio Grande and South Carolina, she settled into being a mama. She is now spayed, over her puppies, and ready for her forever home!

Mama Rio must go to a home with a privacy fence because she is a climber and master escape artist when it comes to chain link fences.
