Good things come in small packages, like little Ace, a Maltese-Yorkie mix, weighing all of 9 lbs. He's three years old. His ideal home would be one where he is the only pet with an active person or couple, maybe including older children. Ace would not do well with younger children.

Ace is a spunky, energetic, excitable little boy who enjoys playing with toys.  He will grab a toy, race around the room growling and barking playfully the entire time. With Ace's energy level and strong personality, he will do best with a dog savvy owner. With a good leader, he is a very loving and snuggly boy. Spoiled, though, this cutie may take advantage!

He keeps his 4-legged foster brothers and cat sisters busy and gets along with 2-legged friends, too. Ace enjoys meeting new people, and he is fine with kids who visit on occasion. That said, we do think he'd do best in a home without young children. He is being fostered along with (dog savvy) cats, who he likes to try to play with.  

Ace is pee pad trained in the house and also walks well on a leash, and will potty on a walk or in the yard.  Currently he wears a belly band in the house and is doing well with potty training as long as he is taken out on a regular basis. Ace is small so he'd be easy to take on errands out and about, and would fit in a sling for shopping trips.

Ace's being fostered in Atlanta, GA and hopes his forever home will notice him soon.
