Description:
***adoption pending***
Ranger Bob is being fostered in Seaford, VA and is the last one of the Texas 10 to be up for adoption and probably the one who arrived with the most issues.
Bob's a quiet, pensive, shy, extremely special guy who is a great example of how loving foster care can help a dog, no matter what his background.
Bob has three main requirements:
- A home with a patient, kind and understanding caregiver.
- At least one companion canine.
- And a secure, fenced yard.
Small children may be a bit too much for him but responsible ones (over 12) should be fine. He would do best in a home where someone is there more than not.
His unique sheep-like appearance makes him one of a kind! But his very thick, curly fur should be brushed daily. He has experience getting groomed and does okay.
He will zoom around the room, do twirls and get super excited at mealtimes and for treats. He also likes to play with toys and run with the other dogs. He has the most endearing smile when he's comfortable, relaxed and happy.
He retires to his crate every night and sleeps soundly. He also uses his crate as his safe haven. When strangers come to the house, he will go there and sit quietly...until he's comfortable to come out.
Ranger Bob enjoys taking walks and is a pure joy to travel with.
Bob's a sensitive, VERY SMART guy with loads of potential when in the right environment.
Thank you for your interest in Ranger Bob! He deserves to be settled, once and for all, in his forever home! If you believe you have the love and patience to give him, please click on "Forms/Applications" to apply.
