Intelligent, friendly, cute as can be all wrapped up in a 10 pound package.  Put a bow on top and he's crying out to be loved!  Scrappy is just that, scrappy!  He' a bundle of loving energy!  And has developed the nickname "the Bullet" because he can run super fast!. Scrappy is such a joy to have!

Scrappy was found soon to be euthanized.  He got a clean bill of health, microchip, neutered, and a second chance at life.

Scrappy came to us with no manners and extreme hyperactivity.  In the beginning, we worked long and hard to help Scrappy and he has developed into one fine dog. He has a lot of energy, as many Terriers do, and will need a committed family who will exercise him daily.  He walks great on a leash.  Letting him run free in a fenced yard or playing with other dogs allows Scrappy to release his energy.  He loves to meet new people.  Scrappy's good with most dogs who can tolerate his level of activity and play.  He has been around children 5 and up and has done great.  He loves to play, run, and be active with my dogs,  but he also loves to snuggle up on your lap and be loved and cuddled.  In the time I've had him, he is much better with his energy level as long as he is given an outlet for exercise.   He will rest with the others while I do my work, or quietly play with his toys. Just taking the time with Scrappy, has made all the difference in the his little world.

All the love Scrappy has is overwhelming.   

His Housebreaking has come a long way.  As long as he is taken out on regular intervals and he has a scheduled eating time his accidents are down to a bare minimum now, so, we almost have it licked.  (update 8/11/12) We brought another foster into the house who had mated all his life and is a "marker" this made Scrappy "set back" in his housebreaking, originally.  It's hard for him to become completely housebroken with dogs coming and going in my care.  We recently installed a doggy door and Scrappy will use the doggy door to do his business outside!!

He is crate trained for bedtime, when we leave the house, and car riding.
