Full of love and character, Sammy is a happy, loving young guy, looking for his forever home.  With lots of love and kindness, Sammy will be a very good family pet. He so loves his humans.

He was very excited about everything with he first arrived at his foster home but has now calmed down.  Through the constant corrections from his humans and dog pack he has gained some manners.  He knows sit, get in your kennel, and wait.  Learning to lay down, he can do with a snack in hand now.

 Sammy has had a rough time prior to coming to Bald is Beautiful Rescue; his skin condition requires lots of attention but he is easy to bathe and enjoys the massages he gets. He is on a no grain diet and loves to eat.

Sammy is a lover and wants to be in a lap or next to his favorite companion, he’s not too choosy.  A man, a woman, another dog would keep him happy.  He sleeps with his humans under the covers.  He is housebroken as long as he is kept on a schedule.

He likes other dogs; he will play zoomies with them and wrestle too. He does not like them in his face with he is eating or has a snack but yet he can drink water out of the same bowl with another dog.  He wants to chase the cats when he sees them move, but can ignore them when he wants to. 

  Sammy is good with kids but needs kids who can be very calm and not in your face when first meeting him.

Sammy is very good on a leash.  He enjoys walking with my pack with no problems.   He travels well in a car. However, moving cars, bicycles and mowers excite him and he wants to chase and bite tires, he can be distracted and hopefully with constant corrections these issues can be resolved.
