Description:
Fostered in ILLINOIS: This adorable little nugget known as Bonnie LaFox
(or Foxie as her foster mom calls her), was found abandoned in an empty
house along with Jaxon, another little dog on our website. She is a doll.
Forlorn and depressed in animal control, Foxie developed kennel cough before
Bald Is Beautiful was able to pull her to safety and place her in a foster
home...but after a month of tlc and good food she has recovered, revealing
the cutest personality. Sweet, gentle, still a tiny bit shy, neverthess
Foxie has a sassy spark that will peak out at times when she wants attention,
barking in her tiny voice at the back of the pack at meal times, or when she
wants to go outside. Once outside, though, she is not sure what to do
yet...it doesn't seem like her previous owners ever took her out. Foxie is
neat and clean in the house, though, and seems used to doggie potty pads, and
she is smart and responsive, so she is learning quickly.
Foxie is affectionate and loving, seeking out both her foster mom and dad for
lap time. She loves to be held and carried around...which she gets a lot of,
it's hard to resist this little ball of fluff! She also like to act like a mommy to Jaxon, regularly washing and cleaning his face (which he totally enjoys).
Foxie was a bit thin when she first came into rescue, but is slowly gaining weight; her coat was also thin and sparse but is growing in thick and soft. We are not sure if she is a long haired chihuahua or a pomeranian, or a mix of both. Either way she is darling...good with both dogs and cats, she would be also be ok with children as long as they know how to treat a small, relatively fragile dog.
Whoever adopts this precious girl will be getting a gem.
