This guy is never short on hugs and goofy smiles. Cleveland is a little shy at first, but then he'll lean in and look at you with those big puppydog eyes and your heart will go thump.

He's one of 11 dogs who came to the rescue from a hoarding situation. When he arrived at the shelter, he was matted and covered in feces. Now he's loving life...and it shows! His big toothy smile says it all.

He loves to play, lounge, cuddle, tag-along and chase water shooting out of the garden hose!

For now, he wears a belly band in the house but is doing rather well with keeping it dry.

We haven't practiced leash training yet. He will require a secure, fenced-in yard.

He sleeps in his crate at night but has exhibited some separation anxiety if he can't sleep in the same room with his foster mom.

We think Cleveland would be fine in a home with other dogs or as an only dog. He seems to get along with everyone. Even though he will pull a little bit of dominance posture on his foster brother, Kingston.

He loves oodles of attention so being at home for too long alone would not work for him.

He's having no problem gaining some weight and his super soft fur should grow back nicely! He's a powderpuff and will need regular grooming.
