***Adoption Pending*** Gertie is funny old gal! She is a hairless Chinese Crested girl, estimated about 8 years old. She has found a daily routine in her foster homewhich includes sleeping in, eating and giving big hugs when you hold her. She likes attention, even from strangers... especially ones who tell her how pretty she is!
Gertie has severe chronic dry eye which requires frequent eye drops to help keep it clear. Due to the dry eye she has developed cataracts and her vision is very limited so a little extra care is needed especially around stairs when she is new to her environment.
Gertie would be best in a home where someone is home most of the time. She is truly most happy when her person is in sight. Potty training is a work in progress, but she truly is one-of-a-kind and will make a great companion.
She had a rough start in life and yet loves people and can make anybody smile.
