Say hello to Dandelion, a tiny powderpuff Chinese Crested being fostered in Yorktown, VA. She is so cute. Like, off the charts cute. Like, oh my gosh, I want to adopt her right now cute. We get it. And she really is a great dog. Super sweet, calm, snuggly, happy. Everyone who holds her immediately feels good.

Her only challenge we've noticed so far is that she is a serious fence climber. This little 8-pound-spiderwoman can scale a chain link fence in record time. She can not ever be left unattended in the yard, and will either need leash walking or a wooden, smooth privacy fence.

As with any new rescue dog, Dandelion will need continued support of her basic house manners, leash skills, etc. We'll work with her on these things as long as she's with us, but we don't expect her to last long. Any adopter should be committed to helping her continue that work to reaching her full potential.
