Reese is quite a unique appearing hairy hairless chinese crested with his brown and white coloring. As you can see he is a very handsome and at 17 pounds a robust young man!

This gorgeous boy has required some extra TLC and understanding in his foster home due to his extreme shyness with people upon arrival. Reese has made huge strides! He is very bright and once he decides he likes you, he LOVES you. His affection of his human is earned through building trust, but once he does, he truly is quite the cuddlebug with his foster mom and proving to be of the velcro varitey as times goes on.

He gets excited about the resident cat and may give chase, so perhaps not a great fit for a home with a cat, though he is not aggressive with it. Small children may be too quick and active for him, so a calmer adult home would work best for Reese.

He has great dog on dog manners and boundaries. He would love a canine friend with which to play. A confident brother or sister or two will help build his own confidence. He will require a fully fenced yard for security and exercise purposes. Zoomies are his specialty! He is working on leash walking.

Reese does great in his crate. He is housetrained so long as he's provided a routine potty schedule. He has the occasional habit of chewing on the corners of furniture, door frames, etc. He is easily distracted, but bears watching and gentle correction. He loves a chewy treat, so having those handy will help!

If you believe you have the patience it takes to gain Reese trust and continue with building Reese' confidence, you are sure to be rewarded with the love of a great forever friend.

11/20/14 Reese is gaining confidence in leaps and bounds! He is going to attach himself in a big way to his forever person as he sure is doing that with his foster mom! He's my little shadow and always looking for lovin'.

11/25/14 Reese is making great progress with leash walking. He is such an amazing fellow. He started out so scared when he came into rescue but is gaining confidence at an amazing rate!

11/30/14 Reece is constantly playing with his foster sister as well as the other resident dogs in his foster home. He would like nothing more than to have a playmate in his new home. He's got fantastic doggy manners. If your dog needs a friend, consider Reese!
