Hershey is the sweetest boy you will ever meet! He is transitioning into his foster home in Knoxville Tennessee & is still being evaluated. So far, he has been a dream foster.

Hershey is completely blind, so it takes him a little extra time to learn his surroundings. He follows voices like a champ and is learning very quickly, he has even mastered the doggy door. He is a confident boy who does not shy from learning new things. Hershey loves everyone he meets. He is charming, loves attention and will hop right up in your lap to snuggle. He is curious and friendly with other dogs & will join in to play.

The perfect home for Hershey is one where he would be the center of attention. He would do best in a home where he had someone home most of the time to snuggle with. He would do fine as an only dog or with a calm pack. Given his blindness, we would not recommend him for a home with small children simply because blind dogs do best when a routine is in place. He would do fine however with the occasional visiting child. If you love Hershey but have children who occasionally visit your home..do not worry.
