With his sparkling dreamy eyes, super soft fur and compact, short-legged body, Sheldon is a hunk of good-lookin' guy. Quite shy, serious & reserved at first, Sheldon is an absolute sweetheart...gradually learning that love is a very splendid thing. The more comfortable he becomes, the more he shines.

He gets along with the resident dogs and is a thoughtful follower...observing everyone and everything so he feels like he's not breaking any rules. He's sensitive to correction and listens really well.

Sheldon attaches quickly to his main caretaker and will bark at and/or avoid anyone else who may be around. He seems to only feel comfortable trusting only one person at a time...so more positive and gentle socialization is in order for this fluffy guy.

Sheldon LOVES posing for photos, running zoomies in the yard, cuddling and is extremely treat motivated.

He doesn't like being alone so he'll need someone who is home most of the time and/or has one or more other dogs in the household.

With access to the outdoors via doggie door, he has not had any accidents in the house since the first couple days he was here. He walks great on a leash...super easy. And is a wonderful passenger in the car.

This incredible guy is a real pleasure once he learns to trust. He deserves a commited, safe, forever place to call his own.
