We're excited to welcome this handsome new guy to our rescue. Chauncey an 8-yr-old Chinese Crested boy with a snuggly, loving personality.
Chauncey is a very sweet boy. Once he becomes comfortable with you, he will give you all his love. He loves to curl up next to you in a warm bed at night and snuggle close under the covers. He get along well with other dogs in his foster home.
Chauncey came to us very overweight. He needs to lose at least 4 or 5 pounds. We're working on getting him adjusted to a healtihier diet and daily exercise, and you can see from his pictures that he is on the right track. Chauncey has already lost 3 pounds and is looking great. He walks well on the leash but is nervous when cars go by. He is the perfect dog, housebroken, great to walk on the leash, and very loving.
Chauncey is being fostered in Wilmington, DE. As a senior dog, he is eligible for the Golden Opportunity Program, which offers a discounted adoption fee to seniors 62 and up.
