Murray is a one-of-a-kind Xolo mix who is looking for his happily ever after. Could it be your home?

Everyone in the family agrees that a hairless dog would be great but there is disagreement on the home front because some don’t want the small and prissy that often comes with being hairless. Small, prissy and yippy are not words you would use to describe Murray. This 28 pounds of muscle says I am a real dog, hear me bark!

I just love how even though he is 3 years old he definitely looks like a big puppy and I have a hard time passing that squishy face without pausing to give him a kiss. This boy is a real traffic stopper! I am willing to bet that you won't find another Murray walking down the street or maybe anywhere. He is a very unique dog!

I love how he stands on his hind legs and whines after I come home after being away letting me know just how much he missed me. He actually loves it when I hoist him up and give him hugs. He also insists that he is a lap dog! Another plus for this sweet boy is that he loves both my husband and I equally. That doesn't often happen.

He is a great walker and walks with my 6 pack for 4 miles and could keep going. He enjoys car rides and sleeping with his person. He is smart, quickly learning how to use our doggy door and has been clean in our home. He is crate trained and it is funny to see him burrowed under his covers without so much as an inch showing!

What I don't love is that he will guard me or sometimes "his" space from the other dogs. Because of this gurarding instinct, Murray needs to be an only pet. Homes with cats, dogs, or children will not be considered. When not doing the guarding thing, he is fine with other animals and is interestd in kids. So this does not mean that he can never be around them, just that caution will be needed.

We'd also like to find him a home where with owners who are willing to commit to excercizing him. He is on the shy side when meeting new people and will do best with dog-savvy owners.
