Patch is a real ladies' man! Sweet and very loving, poor Patch has spent most of his life being tied up outdoors, but now that he's been living the good life in a loving foster home, he's ready for a place to call home. While he prefers women and tends to be protective of his favorite person, he does warm up to gentle treatment from all, and really thrives on attention. Patch loves to do the "happy dance" when his special person comes into the room. He's a very good watchdog who lets you know when someone's at the door, but he settles down once he knows that they are welcome in the home.

Patch gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home, as well as with cats, poultry and horses. He is very playful, loves to ride in the car and go for walks, has been very good in the house, is crate-trained and is learning some basic obedience commands. His beautiful white coat is soft and fluffy, and will require regular grooming to keep him looking his best because he is a "hairy hairless." Patch recently got a full beauty treatment at a professional grooming salon, and his groomer was very impressed at how well-behaved he was the entire time.
