Description:
What a lucky boy... FoxTrot has found his forever family and has an adoption pending. Please consider one of our other wonderful dogs.
Calling all puppy lovers……..meet Foxtrot. Foxtrot, aka Rusty in his foster home due to his red hair, is a 4-month old little boy. He is a mix of Chinese Crested and possibly miniature Pinscher, though we are not positive. Foxtrot weighs in at around 7 pounds and is expected to be a medium sized dog of about 12 - 14 pounds when grown. In fact, right now he is the same size as his Yorkie foster sister.
Foxtrot is all puppy, loves to play and he gets along great with other dogs. He likes to be held and snuggled but he is not needy. He has done great with learning his house manners and has only had one or two accidents. In fact, he follows the others when they go outside which helps with his training. He is very smart and listens intently when spoken to. He has even taught himself how to play fetch and will bring a toy back to you when it is thrown.
He tends to be shy around some people but with a bit of patience, he seems to come out of his shell quickly. Some other people however, he takes to immediately. We have only tried him on a leash once and he did not like it so that will take some work. He would benefit greatly by having a fenced yard where he can run off some of that puppy energy. He would also do well in a home where there is another dog.
If a loving puppy is what you are looking for, then Foxtrot is your boy. He has bundles of love to give and is just waiting for that special someone.
