Marlon is a handsome Chinese Crested boy, estimated about 6 years old, with a loving personality. He's a sweet guy who loves to cuddle on the couch and is pretty easy going. He wakes up so happy in the morning, and loves to roll around and ask for belly scratches. When he's happy, his tail wags a mile a minute and he can be quite the goofball.

Marlon is being fostered along with other dogs as well as cats, and gets along well with everyone. He is very excited to meet new dogs-- lots of tail wagging, especially with bigger dogs-- and is indifferent to the cats.

He enjoys walks around the neighborhood and has been friendly when meeting new people while we're out on walks. He really likes meeting new people! There are a lot of kids in the neighborhood, and he isn't bothered by bikes or skateboards, or kids who come over to pet him.

We have noticed that at the home or in the yard, Marlon is much more likely to bark at strangers. We have him on a leash when meeting new people to give him a chance to settle down.

He is just a bit underweight and so we're trying to get a pound or two on his thin frame. He doesn't have a huge appetite but he does enjoy his treats. He knows "sit," so he works for them just a little bit. Marlon is doing very well on his potty training. He is crated when home alone, and is taken out frequently to take care of business. He likes having a routine.

He's one mellow dude and would do great in a home with (or without) a fenced in yard, or even an apartment. We'd love to find him a quiet home, without a lot of people coming and going all the time. He'd just love a simple routine of walks and snuggles. He will also be happiest in a home with at least one other dog. Marley loves being around other dogs, especially big ones!
