Description:
Yo-Yo Mozart along with 3 other Crested came from a loving family who had to make the very difficult decision to turn their pets over to rescue. He was well-cared-for and so Mo-Mo is a well adjusted, loving, settled house dog longing for a new family.
He is about 10 years but to look at him or watch his actions you would never know. Mo will stand on his hind legs waiving his front paws asking to be picked up for a snuggle. He is a perfect gentleman in the house never disturbing a thing or causing problems for anyone. He likes the other foster dogs in the home, is indifferent to the cats, and enjoys human company. But he would possibly be just fine being a single dog in his new home, especially if his family were home most of the day. Given his choice Mo would rather be with people.
He is very happy spending the day in the middle of his family room watching everything from his special chair. He'd love to sit next to his person all day and night if he could. Mo is very quiet, only barking when the other dogs in his foster family line up against the fence line for a good game of chase with the neighbor's dogs... which is fun for all.
He is a good eater, he will sleep all night in his bed on the floor but would rather sleep with his person in the big bed. After the first few days in his new foster home, he has learned to ask to go outside or use the doggie door. We're happy to share that Mo no longer marks the house, which was kept under control with the use of a belly band.
Mo will make the perfect apartment dog, he is very quiet, is never demanding and happens to be an excellent snuggle partner. He rides well in the car, is fine in a crate for trips, walks ok on leash. He's doing well so he can be with his person and would love to help run errands around town.
Will you please consider Yo-Yo-Mo? He may be already an adult but he comes with perfect manners and the appreciation for the love of his family that would take a puppy years to master. He is the perfect definition of a companion dog... for a retired person who spends most time at home, Mo would be the ideal pet. He is going to bring his new owners so much joy!
