Ely/Gino
We send our love and condolences to the family of Ely, a dog that holds a special place in all our hearts. Gino came to BisB as part of the Texas 10, a group that had been living in horrible conditions, with 200 dogs living in a fenced yard in Houston, TX. When they came to us, they were all so scared.

But Gino was the first to step right up to his caretakers, hop in a lap, and make himself at home. We called him "The Godfather."

After his adoption, he lived with a wonderful family in North Carolina, where he was adored, spoiled and treated like a king. He had the most gorgeous skin and a sweet personality, and made people happy everywhere he went.

We know he will be terribly missed, but are so grateful to his family for making sure his retirement years were the best years of his life. Rest in Peace, buddy. 9/1/14
